These can be done with experienced guides from Walks Kaikoura or freedom walking at your own pace. Visit ‘Springbank Estate’ Winery at the bottom of Mt. Fyfe, and take in the beautiful aromas at the Kaikoura Lavender Farm. Quad biking adventure at ‘Glenstrae’s’ 1600 acre working farm is a favourite that shows you scenic panoramas along the coast and over rugged farm land. When visiting Ohau Point Seal Colony, don’t forget your camera. Watch the seal pups here from April through to October, they really are adorable. In the winter months put on the skis and snowboards and head for Mt. Lyford, great uncrowded slopes to ski.
