Matt from Kaikoura Kayaks offers self hire or half day guided kayak tours to paddle with local marine life. Get an up close and down low experience with seals  and paddle with them as they dive and manoeuver around you hunting for octopus. As you paddle along the Kaikoura coastline there are chance encounters with ‘Hector’ and ‘Dusky’ dolphins and hundreds of pelagic birds. On occasions Orca may be seen cruising through the shallows in this fabulous natural environment.

If you prefer not to use your arms so much Levi at Seal Kayak Kaikoura offer trips on pedal kayaks which allow you to be handsfree! This is a great option for taking photos of the fur seals and wildlife. Both Kayak companies offer sunset tours which are a personal favorite of ours. Theres nothing like an ocean sunset!
